Our goal is to bring out the best in every student by creating a place where they can learn, fail, grow, serve, and belong.

We believe young people grow best when they feel safe to learn, challenge themselves, make mistakes, and be surrounded by people who believe in them.

More Than Community Service

Youth Board is a 10-month leadership experience designed to help students grow both personally and professionally. Through leadership development, life skills, mentorship, volunteerism, and a youth-led Community Impact Project, members gain the confidence, character, and real-world experience needed to lead wherever life takes them.

Along the way, students learn to communicate, collaborate, solve problems, serve others, and build meaningful relationships with peers they may never have met otherwise.

What Makes Youth Board Different

Youth Board exists outside of the classroom, giving students the freedom to grow in a different way. Here, leadership isn't measured by titles or popularity. It's built through curiosity, accountability, resilience, compassion, and the willingness to keep showing up.

Over 12 months, strangers become teammates, teammates become friends, and many leave with relationships that last well beyond graduation.

At its heart, Youth Board is a place where young people are challenged, supported, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.

2026/2027 Youth Board Term

Although the 2026–2027 Youth Board officially begins in August, our students have already been hard at work. Throughout the summer, they've come together to volunteer at community events, strengthen friendships, and begin building the trust that makes this program so meaningful.

This year marks an exciting season of growth for Youth Board. We are expanding opportunities for leadership development, increasing the time we invest in our students, and creating even more experiences that help them build confidence, serve others, and prepare for life beyond high school.
